2020 LMFA fall registration (updated on July 30th)
The LMFA online registration for 2020 is OPEN, the link to the registration is on the main page, half way down the page.
We have kept the online registration open in July, and we are waiving the late fee at this point.
STAGE 3 UPDATE
We have reviewed and will carefully follow the province’s stage 3 opening protocols.
Full details can be found on the “Return to Football” post.
Roster spots will be strictly limited based on the outdoor gathering limit and the players in a “group” limit.
You will hear from your coach soon if you registered already.
In person registration dates are listed below.
As well, we encourage everyone to register on this web site.
Email or call us if you not able to register online for any reason.
Here is our article in this month’s Sports Xpress, which details some of our efforts to prepare for the fall.
Football Canada – Return to Football
Visit Football Canada’s page for the latest on the return to football plans.
We will work with Football Canada in addition to the city and provincial governments when deciding what activity is safe in 2020.
The LMFA first and foremost wants to thank all the essential and front line workers who are helping people in this time of crisis. THANK YOU !!
We are of course monitoring events closely and keeping in touch with our partners at the City of London, TVDSB, and the City of St Thomas.
But we are still planning for the best and preparing for the worst.
Planning and preparation for the fall season continues even as our in person sign ups are on hold.
Registration is open and we will continue to keep everyone updated. Registration and refund policies will be updated and modified as needed, but the $50 admin fee for players who quit will not apply if the season is cancelled.
As well, if you are interested in becoming a football official and joining the London Football Officials Association, here is their recent London Sports Xpress article.

We try to ensure that roster numbers are balanced out across all teams.
We will make every effort to honour requests and to keep players in their geographic areas.
The registration includes use of all football equipment (returned to us promptly after the season) as well as a jersey to keep and a team photo.
There is no league wide fund raising, however each team is responsible for their own team party.
The season starts with equipment fitting and pre-season practice in August.
In August, practice starts approx August 15th and runs 3 times per week.
After Labour Day, practices are Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6pm to 8pm at various locations across London and St Thomas.
Games are mostly played on Sundays at Citywide Park on Commissioners Road East from September thru mid November.
U10 games are on Sunday morning followed by U12 and U14 games in the afternoon.
There could be some Friday and Saturday games under the lights as well.
The London – Windsor all star games are scheduled for Windsor this year in late November.
